Bread & Scali was born from two places that couldn't be farther apart on the map — yet somehow always felt like home.

One is the old mill city streets of New England, where neighborhood sandwich shops knew your name, bulky rolls were stacked behind the counter, and every meal felt like it came with a story.

The other is Puerto Rico — where food has always been family, where recipes are passed from one generation to the next, and the meal isn't just something you eat. It's how you show love.

Bread & Scali brings those two worlds together. Every sandwich on our menu carries a piece of that journey. The Clock Tower remembers the mills. The Spigot honors Puerto Rican comfort food. The Landlord celebrates the hard-working people who kept old neighborhoods running. Even our Fluffernutters bring back childhood memories that many New Englanders never forgot.

We believe sandwiches should be made one at a time — not pulled from under a heat lamp. Every order deserves fresh bread, quality ingredients, and the kind of care you'd expect if someone were cooking for family.

We're still writing our story today. You may only find us online as we build something special — one recipe, one photograph, and one sandwich at a time. But every picture you see and every recipe we perfect brings us one step closer to opening our doors.
